With the construction of the PSD Bank DOME (formerly ISS Dome) in Düsseldorf-Rath, another architectural masterpiece was created for the city of Düsseldorf based on the concept and project development of IDR. The major 70 million euro construction project was completed on time and on budget in just one and a half years. Opened in 2006, the 52,000m2 multifunctional hall has sophisticated technical equipment and, as the home of the DEG Metro Stars, offers space for up to 13,400 spectators. The interior, the heart of the PSD Bank DOME, can be used for almost any type of event: Concerts, shows and sporting events with an international character. The exclusive VIP area with 38 boxes and 624 business seats provides the perfect setting for combining business and entertainment at a high level. Sufficient parking space is provided by the spacious multi-storey parking lot with 1,500 spaces, which has also been built. IDR was responsible for this prestigious large-scale construction project from the initial concept to the turnkey handover.
