Growing commercial area in the north of Düsseldorf
IDR is one of the largest project developers on Theodorstrasse and played a key role in shaping the concept of the commercial area in the north of Düsseldorf. The completion of the ISS DOME in 2006 and the four-lane expansion of Theodorstrasse - both by IDR - acted as an initial spark for further settlements in what is now a very popular commercial area. Since then, IDR has planned and realized six further commercial properties on Theodorstrasse, which are let on long-term leases. In the area of house numbers 293-297, IDR AG developed the Gewerbeareal Nord with offices and halls on an area of around 60,000m2, which were occupied by well-known wholesale and logistics companies. The completion of the 15,000m2 representative administrative headquarters of Technip Deutschland (now Mannesmann) in 2015 is the latest milestone in the successful development of the Düsseldorf North business location. In addition to its own project developments, IDR AG also markets properties there as a service.
