Kö-Bogen

Architectural highlight in the heart of the city of Düsseldorf

With the completion of the Kö-Bogen in winter 2013, the city of Düsseldorf gained a new center. Designed by the internationally renowned architect and designer Daniel Libeskind, the Kö-Bogen has also made a name for itself beyond the region as an international architectural icon in the heart of the state capital Düsseldorf. The Kö-Bogen is characterized by its striking façade of glass and white natural stone, which is broken up with diagonal sections on the north and west sides. In the course of the new construction, tunnels were also built to better regulate traffic in the city center. IDR AG - via its former holding company IDR Public Management (IPM) - took on project management tasks and was responsible for vendor and client controlling.
